RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — Needing a win to keep its chances alive for advancing past group play, Duke University alumna Lindsey Harding and the Belarus squad came-from-behind Tuesday afternoon to register a 65-63 victory over host Brazil in Olympic Group A play at the Youth Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Harding, a 2007 Duke graduate, scored eight of her 12 points in the second half, while collecting a game-high six assists, two steals and one rebound in 36 minutes of play for Belarus.
With the victory, Belarus now owns a 1-2 record and three points, which ranks fourth in Group A.
