RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — Duke alumna Lindsey Harding and the Belarus women’s basketball squad ended its 2016 Olympic run with a 74-66 loss to Australia at the Youth Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Belarus finished action with a 1-4 record, while Australia totaled a 5-0 mark in Group A. Harding registered a team-high 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes of play for Belarus.
Belarus held a 52-39 lead with 4:30 remaining in the third quarter, but Australia fought back to go on a 22-7 run in the final frame to register the win.
