EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. – Freshman Luke Sample is three strokes off the lead and the Duke men's golf team sits in a tie for fourth place at the Hampton Intercollegiate, which was halted in the second round on Monday due to darkness.
The tournament resumes early Tuesday to conclude the second round and play the final 18 holes at the Maidstone Club in East Hampton, N.Y.
The Blue Devils are 10-over as a team midway through the second round but were gaining ground on the leaders when play was suspended.
