DURHAM – Duke field hockey senior Piper Hampsch has been selected as the Chair of the ACC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as the conference announced its 2023-24 SAAC Executive Board.
Hampsch, a four-year starter in goal for Duke, has been an active member of Duke's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee throughout her time in Durham. This past summer, Hampsch represented the ACC at the NCAA SAAC meetings in Indianapolis, joining student-athletes from across the country to discuss everything from NIL and student-athlete welfare to how they can have their voices heard in the governance process.
