West Palm Beach, Fla. – The Palm Beach County Sports Commission announced Monday that redshirt freshman kicker Charlie Ham was named one of 20 semifinalists for the 2020 Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award, presented by the Orange Bowl.
He becomes the second Duke player honored in as many years as AJ Reed was tabbed a semifinalist just last season.
In Duke's 10 games so far in 2020, Ham has converted 13-of-15 field goal attempts (29-, 30-, 25-, 47-, 39-, 36-, 45-, 21-, 46-, 29-, 32-, 29- and 35-yards).
