RALEIGH, N.C. – Redshirt-senior Mia Gyau broke a scoreless tie in the second half with her first goal of the season to lead the No. 7 Duke women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over NC State at Dail Soccer Field on Friday Night.
The Blue Devils (10-5-2) kept the Wolfpack offense in check throughout the entire match, limiting NC State to two shot attempts and no shots on goal. Duke collected its eighth shutout win of the season in the effort and rebounded from its first loss of the spring last week at West Virginia.
