VARESE, Italy – Duke rowing's Sophia Greco and Megan Lee competed on the international stage last week. The two Blue Devils represented the United States at the 2022 World Rowing Under 19 and Under 23 Championships, hosted on Lake Varese in Varese, Italy from July 25-31.
Greco, an incoming freshman, was a member of the US coxed four and helped her crew set new records in both the heat and final en route to a gold medal. During the preliminary heat, the US led from start to finish, setting a new World Championship Best Time at 6:54.
