SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the 20 watch list members for the 2018 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award. Duke senior Grayson Allen, the team’s leading returning scorer (14.5ppg) and rebounder (3.7 rpg), is among the 20 candidates. The Jacksonville, Fla, native has already been named to several preseason All-American lists, including first team by Blue Ribbon and second team by Athlon.
Named after Hall of Famer and 1959 NCAA Final Four Most Valuable Player Jerry West, the annual honor in its fourth year recognizes the top shooting guards in Division I men’s college basketball.
