GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second time this season, Duke University graduate Haley Gorecki has been tabbed the ACC Player of the Week on Monday following a vote of the Blue Ribbon Panel.
A native of Palatine, Ill., Gorecki closed the regular season with three games on the road in seven days, while averaging 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.7 steals. She helped lead Duke to a, 70-65, upset victory at eighth-ranked NC State with 24 points, five assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block in 40 minutes, while having only one turnover.
