DURHAM, N.C. – Following a standout freshman campaign with the Duke women’s basketball team, Miela Goodchild has been named one of 17 athletes selected to attend the Australian Gems final selection camp to be held at the Centre of Excellence from May 30 through June 2 ahead of the FIBA Under-19 World Cup.
After the conclusion of the four days of camp, the final team will be announced for the FIBA Under-19 World Cup to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from July 20-28.
Other athletes attending camp include Isobel Anstey, Isabelle Boune, Chelsea D’Angelo, Agnes Emma-Nnopu, Alexandra Fowler, Ashlee Hannan, Shyla Heal, Juliva Motuga, Isabel Palmer, Gemma Potter, Darcy Rees, Kelsey Rees, Lily Scanlon, Jazmin Shelley, Samantha Simons and Sara-Rose Smith.
