SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Duke track & field graduate student Daniel Golubovic concluded his career as a Blue Devil today at the USA Track & Field (USATF) Outdoor Championships at Horent Stadium in Sacramento, Calif.
Golubovic entered the final five events in the decathlon in 13th place and jumped seven spots on the leaderboard to finish sixth overall. Golubovic's 7,717 points etches his name for the second-best point total in Duke history.
The Los Angeles, Calif., native registered five top-10 finishes to go along with one personal-best today. Golubovic clocked in at 14.
