The courts will ultimately decide the conflict between Zion Williamson and Gina Ford, and a lot of the legal stuff is beyond us at this point, but one thing looks increasingly clear: she has some dreadful, possibly incompetent attorneys.
The first clue was when they sent a subpoena that was supposed to go to the NCAA to “Produce Documents, Information, or Objections or to Permit Inspection of Premises in a Civil Action on the following” to an orthodontist in South Bend instead
Not quite sure how that happened, but it did.
Now Williamson’s attorneys accuse their opponents of relying on Zillow and Wikipedia and they have scored at least a partial point: the guy who owns the house in Durham that Williamson’s parents rented has the same name as another man who is a Duke grad but the owner did not go to Duke.
