DURHAM, N.C.—Duke senior JT Giles-Harris and freshman Dyson Williams have been named the ACC Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively, the league office announced Tuesday. Williams garners the award for the first time in his career, while Giles-Harris picks up his fourth weekly defensive recognition from the league.
Giles-Harris, the 2019 ACC Defensive Player of the Year, had an excellent weekend in helping Duke go 2-0, including an overtime win over No. 20 Richmond. In the two outings, the senior captain collected nine ground balls and five caused turnovers and tallied his first career goal.
