Georgia Tech had its first exhibition game Sunday night and had little trouble with D-II Georgia College, winning 98-76.
Josh Pastner started Jose Alvarado, Shembari Phillips, Khalid Moore, Moses Wright, James Banks III.
Phillips is a transfer from Tennessee.
Noteworthy: transfer Bubba Parham hit all five of his threes which could really help an offense that was anemic last year. Also noteworthy: Evan Cole, originally recruited by Kevin Keatts for UNC-Wilmington as a skinny 6-8 forward is now listed at 6-10 and 230. And one more noteworthy thing: Raleigh native Moses Wright, who was well under 200 lbs.
