Duke Outlasts North Carolina in Thriller
The Blue Devils picked up their first ACC win Friday night in heart-stopping fashion, outlasting North Carolina 11-10. Duke trailed 4-1 early in the second quarter, only to battle its way to a 5-5 halftime score. Down 9-8 after three quarters, thanks to a last-second goal from Joe Robertson, the Blue Devils outscored the Tar Heels 3-1 in the final 15 minutes to grab win No. 9 of the year. Justin Guterding and Brad Smith with the leaders on offense with a combined 13 points.
