DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University incoming freshmen Megan Furtney and Erica Shepherd are set to see action in the 2019 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship July 22-27 at the 6,307-yard, par 72 SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wis.
A field of 156 golfers will compete in action starting Monday, July 22 with the first of two 18-hole stroke play rounds. Following 36 holes of stroke play Monday and Tuesday, the field will be reduced to 64 golfers for match play. The round of 64 of match play will take place July 24, followed by the round of 32 and round of 16 on Thursday, July 25.
