Frank Jackson, as you know, recently committed to Duke. As a sophomore, he committed to BYU. He's taken some criticism for this back home.
This follows a football situation where Chazz Surratt had committed to Duke, then flipped to UNC.
We criticized Surratt, but not Jackson. Why?
Well the situations are fairly different.
In Surratt's case, he changed his mind only after UNC told him that the athletic scandal wouldn't touch football again, and far too late for Duke to replace him (we'll have to see how things work out for the football team in the latest round with the NCAA).
