SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Duke freshman Frank Jackson was named one of 20 candidates for the 2017 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award on Monday in announcement by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The award, which is presented by College of the Holy Cross, is now in its 14th year recognizing the top point guard in Division I men’s college basketball.
Rated as the No. 10 overall recruit in the 2016 high school class by ESPN, Jackson earned co-MVP honors at the 2016 McDonald’s All-American Game after scoring 19 points to lead the West squad to victory.
