DURHAM, N.C.--Duke University attackman Jack Bruckner was selected by the Rochester Rattlers with the 39th overall pick to headline the quartet of Blue Devils chosen in the 2017 Major League Lacrosse draft. The four Blue Devils landed on three different teams in the league.
Bruckner was the third pick in the fifth round, while fellow Blue Devils Thomas Zenker, Kyle Rowe and Ian Yanulis were selected 62nd, 67th and 68th, respectively. Zenker joins the New York Lizards, Rowe went to the Rattlers and Yanulis to his hometown Boston Cannons squad.
An honorable mention All-America choice, Bruckner joins former Blue Devils Michael Manley, Ned Crotty and Jordan Wolf on the Rattlers.
