Former NC State guard Anthony Grundy is dead at 40. He had gone home to attend a family event and was stabbed multiple times, and died at a local hospital.
Former teammate Archie Miller tweeted out his sense of loss and it was more than understandable.
We met Grundy when the McDonald’s Game was in Raleigh. Because it wasn’t packed we got very close to the court and he walked in and sat down.
You couldn’t have asked for a nicer guy. There was no sense of pretension or arrogance. He was just the sweetest man, easy to talk to, friendly and eager to hear someone else’s opinion.
