Former Duke All-America Jordan Wile Passes Away

DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke men’s tennis All-America Jordan Wile passed away on February 10, 2019. He was 41 years old.

During the 1997 season, Wile paired with Doug Root for a doubles season that resulted in All-America honors.

Root and Wile combined to win 62 matches together, the third most by a Duke tandem. Wile made his first two NCAA Doubles Tournament trips with Root, falling in the opening round in 1997 before advancing to the quarterfinals in 1998.
