The Jordan Brand Classic has released it list of players selected for this year’s game. It will feature five future Blue Devils:
- Jaemyn Brakefield
- Jalen Johnson
- Jeremy Roach
- D.J. Steward
- Mark Williams
They join former Blue Devils such as J.J. Redick, Kyrie Irving, and Zion Williamson who were also selected.
This is also the most Duke players selected for a single year. The previous record was four set three times (2014, 2016, 2018). Overall this gives Duke 35 players who have have been named to the Jordan Brand Classic. Three players (Kyrie Irving, Jabari Parker, Jahlil Okafor) have been named MVP of the game.
