DUKE FALLS TO WAKE FOREST

  • Duke traveled to Winston Salem for its second game of the spring campaign, taking on Wake Forest. Blue Devil senior Nico Macri opened the scoring for Duke and backup goalkeeper Eliot Hamil made it 2-0 before the break.
  • The Demon Deacons came back in the second half, tying it up 2-2 with just over 15 minutes to go and then tacked on two more goals in the final five minutes to win 4-2.
  • Duke and Wake Forest are the only two programs to have played twice this spring with the Demon Deacons going 1-0-1 and Duke 0-2.
