DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women’s tennis program was named a 2019 ITA All-Academic Team, as announced Thursday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Additionally, five Blue Devils also received recognition for individual academic accomplishments.
Margaryta Bilokin, Meible Chi, Maria Mateas, Kaitlyn McCarthy and Hannah Zhao received ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades as McCarthy’s recognition marks the fourth consecutive year.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.
