INDIANAPOLIS – Duke sophomore center Kyle Filipowski has been named as one of 40 standout men's college basketball players for the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) 2023-24 Oscar Robertson Trophy and All-America Watch List, the organization announced on Tuesday.
A native of Westtown, New York, Filipowski was named a Preseason All-American and ACC Preseason Player of the Year and has improved in nearly all statistical categories as a sophomore. He has already surpassed his freshman assist total with 76, has blocked 45 shots, nearly double his freshman total, is shooting 49.
