DURHAM -- After scoring 28 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing eight assists against Hofstra, Kyle Filipowski has been named the ACC Player of the Week in men's basketball for the first time this season. The sophomore's 28 points marked a season-high, one off his career-high, and set a new career-high for assists, finishing just two shy of the sixth all-time triple-double by a Blue Devil.
Filipowski logged his fifth 20-point performance of the season, going 10-of-16 (.625) from the field, while also matching his career-high with four three-pointers. The Westtown, New York, native also blocked three shots, moving his season total to 19 swatted shots after logging a total of 26 during the 2022-23 season.
