DURHAM - Fresh off his fifth double-double this season, Duke's Kyle Filipowski has been named the ACC Rookie of the Week for the fourth week in a row. It marks Duke's ACC-leading 150th all-time Rookie of the Week selection, as Filipowski becomes the conference's first player to open a season with four consecutive Rookie of the Week honors.
Four straight selections is one shy of the all-time mark for ACC Rookie of the Week awards, held by former Blue Devil Jabari Parker's five straight in 2013-14. The other four-week streaks were set by Duke's Austin Rivers (2011-12), North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough (twice in 2005-06), Georgia Tech's Dion Glover (1997-98) and GT's Kenny Anderson (1989-90).
