Feeling Super, Duke Clinches Third Super Regional in Program History

CONWAY, S.C. – In front of a stadium record 5,102 fans, Duke (38-22) scored in six of the eight innings they batted in, defeating Coastal Carolina (42-21), 12-3 to advance to the Charlottesville Super Regional next weekend.

Graduate transfer Alex Gow worked four innings of one-hit ball on two-days' rest, striking out a season high seven batters. Graduate transfer MJ Metz was named to the All-Tournament Team as a designated hitter and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Conway Regional.

The three Super Regional appearances since 2018 are tied for the most by an ACC program with North Carolina (2018, 2019, 2022).
