DURHAM, N.C. – Recent Duke men's golf graduate Chandler Eaton has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) 2020 Academic All-America Men's At-Large Team Second Team, as announced by the organization Friday.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes in the following men's sports -- fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis, volleyball, water polo, wrestling -- for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Honorees were selected from those that were named first-team Academic All-District.
Eaton joined fellow Blue Devils Eoin Gronningsater (fencing) and Nathaniel Hernandez (swimming & diving), who were also named CoSIDA Academic All-Americans.
