DURHAM, N.C.—The Duke men's soccer team played its third intrasquad scrimmage Sunday evening in preparation for the upcoming 2020 campaign. Blue came away with the 2-1 victory in a well-balanced and hard-fought match.
Personnel switched between the team over the course of the three periods and White nearly tied the match up in the final third, but early goals from Blue in the opening stanza proved to be enough.
Blue was excellent in the first period, with dynamic attacks through the midfield and down the sides en route to a 2-0 lead at the first break.
