Durant Undergoes Shoulder Surgery

DURHAM, N.C. - Duke rising sophomore running back Mataeo Durant underwent surgery on Wednesday to address a left shoulder injury. He will be out indefinitely.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Jonathan Riboh.

During the 2018 season, Durant played in nine games, totaling 17 carries for 43 yards (2.53). The McCormick, S.C., product gained a year-high 22 rushing yards against Wake Forest in the regular season finale. Durant also excelled on special teams, booking four tackles.
