CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Duke seniors Jake Naso, men's lacrosse, and Brianna Smith, women's cross country/track & field, are among the 26 Atlantic Coast Conference student-athletes selected as recipients of the 2024 Weaver-James-Corrigan-Swofford Postgraduate Scholarship Award.
The ACC recognized a total of 51 student-athletes on Monday, including Jim & Pat Thacker Scholarship Award recipients and the 2024 ACC Excellence Award List, which honored Duke football senior Graham Barton and volleyball graduate student Gracie Johnson.
Naso, one of the nation's top faceoff specialists, has etched his name in the Duke men's lacrosse records book during his career and continues to excel at the dot for the Blue Devils, winning 67 percent of his restarts this season and picking up 45 ground balls.
