The World Amateur Golf Ranking recently released the rankings for the top 100 amateur golfers in the world, and two Duke golfers were listed in the Top 5 of the latest women’s rankings. Freshman Leona Maguire is currently ranked the #1 female amateur golfer and junior Celine Boutier is ranked #5 in the world.
Leona Maguire is having a historic season for the Blue Devils, winning three tournaments in her first season, including the 2015 ACC Women’s Golf Individual Championship and first place in the 2015 South Bend Regional of the NCAA Tournament, and placed no lower than 3rd in the last 5 tournaments.
