DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's swimming and diving team jumped up five spots from the preseason poll to the first poll of the season that was released Wednesday by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.
The Blue Devils began the season with the women ranked 22nd and the men not being ranked in the preseason poll put out by the CSCAA. In Wednesday's poll, the women jumped to 17th while the men received votes to sit right outside the top 25.
Duke opened the season at Florida State, where it split meets with the Seminoles.
