Duke Women Place 4th, Men 5th at ACC Championships

CARY, N.C. – Senior Michaela Reinhart earned her third career All-ACC honor to lead the Duke women's cross country team to a fourth-place finish, while senior CJ Ambrosio paced the men to a fifth-place standing at Friday's ACC Championships in Cary, N.C.

Both teams' placements were the highest by a Duke squad since 2012, and required knocking off a nationally ranked ACC foe at the WakeMed cross country course. On the women's side, the Blue Devils' 114-point total narrowly bested 27th-ranked North Carolina (116 points). The men, meanwhile, collected 134 points, one ahead of 17th-ranked Syracuse (135).
