Duke Turns Defense into Offense and Blasts Yale 91 – 58; Barrett Scores 30; Williamson Scores 20

For the second game in a row the Blue Devils came out somewhat slowly at home but also for the second straight game the Devils rode freshman R.J. Barrett to victory – this time against Yale, 91 to 58. Yale seemed up to the task in the first half, only yielding a lead of 9 at the half even with 16 first half turnovers. Duke aided the Bulldogs with poor shooting from 3 point range and from the foul line.

The second half was a different story. The Blue Devils came out of the half and did what they hadn’t done – they executed in the half-court.
