Duke Tops North Carolina, 4-2

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Graduate student Peter Matt finished 3-for-4 as the Duke baseball team topped North Carolina, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon in game one of the three-game series at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Matt's 3-for-4 day with three RBIs led the Blue Devils as he finished with a single, a double and a home run.

Junior Cooper Stinson started on the mound for the Blue Devils, picking up two strikeouts in 2.0 hitless innings. Sophomore Henry Williams started the Saturday continuation, allowing four hits and a walk in 5.
