DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's lacrosse team was tabbed 18th in the final poll of the 2020 season, released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
Duke's No. 18 ranking was the best since 2016 when the Blue Devils finished the season ranked 11th.
"I am heartbroken that our 2020 team could not continue with what was a very promising season," head coach Kerstin Kimel said in a previous statement. "The culmination of hard work that started last summer, was coming to fruition through our performances on the field.
