HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Duke volleyball team went 1-1 Saturday in Hempstead, N.Y., to close out the non-conference slate at the Hofstra Invitational. The Blue Devils fell to St. John's (3-1) before defeating Hofstra (3-1) at the David S. Mack Physical Education Center.
Sophomore Ade Owokoniran amassed 40 kills over three games while Lily Cooper added 16 blocks.
