The sports season in Durham is in full swing and the Duke Softball team has gotten off to a fantastic start to its year.
In its third season in existence, the Blue Devils have jumped out to a 13-2 start after winning 29 and 25 games in its first two seasons, respectively.
Duke picked up its firsts signature win of the season on Saturday night against the No. 4 Texas Longhorns in the Texas Invitational taking place in Austin, Texas.
The victory was the first ranked victory Duke secured against one of its opponents and it was the first loss the Longhorns have suffered this season.
