DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke women’s tennis team begins the 2016-17 season this weekend, as the Blue Devils host the Duke Bonk Invitational at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C. The three-day tournament, scheduled to run from Friday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Sept. 18, includes student-athletes from 10 teams, including six teams that concluded the 2016 campaign ranked among the top 25 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s national poll.
“[The tournament] helps our team see where they stand, see what they need to do and gives a lot of opportunities for people early in the year,” head coach Jamie Ashworth said.
