DURHAM – Head Coach Megan Cooke Carcagno and the Duke rowing program are excited to announce the addition of Ashley Whipple, who will compete for the Blue Devils in the 2022-23 season.
A native of Chicago, Ill., Whipple currently attends St. Ignatius College Prep and competes for the Chicago Rowing Foundation. She helped her Varsity 8 boat place third at the 2021 USRowing Youth Nationals, and also claimed first in the V8 at the Midwest Junior Rowing Championship.
Whipple is a member of the National Honors Society as well as the Spanish Honors Society.
