GREENVILLE, N.C. – Duke’s defense held East Carolina without a tally for the final 27 minutes in regulation to propel the 12th-ranked Blue Devils to a 22-9 victory at the Pirates’ Johnson Stadium Tuesday evening.
Eleven different Blue Devils found the back of the net, contributing to a season-high scoring output for the squad. Sophomore attacker Charlotte North led the way with seven tallies and added two assists while senior Olivia Jenner also notched a hat trick and senior Ellie Majure, sophomore Abby Landry and freshman Maddie Jenner chipped in two goals apiece.
