DURHAM, N.C.—Four Blue Devils were selected to the 2019 ACC Men’s Lacrosse All-ACC squad in a vote of the league’s five head coaches. Duke tied for second with four picks, while Syracuse led the way with six selections.
Senior defenseman Cade Van Raaphorst collected this third All-ACC award, while senior midfielder Brad Smith picked up his second honor. Senior defensive midfielder John Prendergast and junior close defenseman JT Giles-Harris both earn their first All-ACC awards.
Van Raaphorst and Giles-Harris have been outstanding as Duke’s anchors to the close defense.
