DURHAM, N.C. – Team Two will take the field for the first time on Sunday, Sept. 23, as the Duke Blue Devils host the Appalachian State Mountaineers in a doubleheader to open the 2018 fall schedule.
First pitch from the Duke Softball Stadium is set for 2 p.m. ET. The second contest is set to begin approximately 30 minutes following game one.
Duke is coming off an impressive inaugural season that saw it rack up 29 wins and earn the No. 7 seed in the 2018 ACC Tournament. The 29 victories finished as the fifth most amongst first-year ACC programs.
