Brakefield is the #38 overall player (#6 PF) in the Class of 2020 according to 247Sports.com.
He was named the 2018-19 Gatorade Player of the Year for West Virginia. He averaged 17.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game for Huntington Prep.
