LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the second consecutive season, the Duke softball coaching staff has been named the Southeast Region Staff of the Year, as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2022 Division I Regional Coaching Staffs of the Year on Thursday.
Led by head coach Marissa Young, her staff of assistant coaches Josh Bloomer and Jessica Bracamonte, as well as volunteer assistant Nicole Schaffer helped lead the Blue Devils to new heights in 2022, culminating in the first NCAA Super Regional appearance in program history.
