Duke in the NBA: Kyrie Irving Done For the Season

The worst has happened for the Boston Celtics and their fans as Kyrie Irving will not play for the remainder of the regular season or playoffs, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

In the Woj report, Irving will undergo another surgery to remove two screws that were in his patella from the injury Irving suffered in Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals.

Kyrie Irving had surgery on March 24 to remove a tension wire in his left knee, but an infection was found in his knee and the next surgery on Saturday will change that.
