It was a cold and bitter night in Durham, North Carolina on Saturday, but the Notre Dame Fighting Irish felt like they were back in South Bend, Indiana.
The No. 15 Fighting Irish pack Wallace Wade with its own fans and those who were in the crowd supporting the Blue Devils didn’t have nearly enough to cheer about as those did who were wearing Gold and Blue.
Duke was blown off its own field, losing 38-7 to Notre Dame on Saturday night.
This was the third time this season that the Blue Devils lost a game by at least 30 points, Alabama and Virginia being the other games.
