Joan Niesen of Sports Illustrated recently published a list of college football’s top 10 games from the past decade. The rankings feature several great and memorable games in the last 10 years, and we were excited to see that Duke Football appeared on the list.
The 2013 Chick-fil-A Bowl was ranked as the 7th best game in the last 10 years. The Blue Devils took on Texas A&M on New Year’s Eve after a program-best 10-2 regular season and ACC Coastal Division title. Duke had numerous opportunities to win the game leading 38-17 at halftime, however Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was able to lead his team back in the second half to win 52-48.
